Physical therapy and rehabilitation
Physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists play important roles on your care team and are specially trained to work with people living with orthopedic conditions. They focus on strength, balance and movement to help you manage pain or recover from an injury or procedure. Typically, rehabilitation gyms are located within the orthopedic units.
Like our orthopedic physicians, they develop personalized care plans tailored to your goals to help ensure you’re able to do the activities you enjoy. They can even help you customize a plan that helps prevent future injuries or protect your muscles and joints as you age.
