About the program

Our fellowship will have experiences at a large, well-resourced EMS agency as a base educational experience. The fellows will rotate with Fort Worth Fire Department and the Fort Worth Office of the Medical Director (FWOMD), an independent office of the medical director.

Fellows will also interact with over a dozen large and small urban EMS agencies that are provided medical direction by FWOMD. This allows fellows to get the basic tenets of EMS knowledge, including quality improvement and research in multiple EMS settings.
